Comhaltas Code of Behaviour
- Comhaltas operates on principles of honesty, openness, fairness, and dignity, regardless of age, gender, race, sexual orientation, disability, or religious belief.
- Participants are expected to treat others with respect, dignity, and sensitivity, behaving in a supportive and cooperative manner.
- All Comhaltas members, volunteers and guests are expected to adhere to these principles.
- Comhaltas prioritises the protection of children and vulnerable adults, as shown in this policy: CHILD SAFETY POLICY
- Comhaltas has mechanisms for receiving and investigating complaints of inappropriate behaviour in a timely manner.
- Any issues arising will need to be put in writing and sent to the Secretary or Branch President, not mentioned aloud in a public forum.
- A sub-committee, consisting of the Branch President and 2 other members will deal with the issue.
- Confidentiality will be maintained at all times.
